Sink holes are frequently found in Pasco County north of Tampa, Fl destroying property as the ground opens up under buildings.  The loss of water in the underground springs comes from too much land use.

Insurance companies hesitate to cover liability on homes in areas around Tampa and Lakeland, yet new construction continues.
