Who pulled the plug?  Battery-operated portable TV's are now in the land-fill as are the portable radios.  Anyone have an idea of how to find out what is going on around you, when the storm takes down the power lines?

The "modern-age" has now put people back-in-the-dark!  When the storms hit and the power is off for days, people will be wishing that someone had "thought" first before they acted against the simplicity of yesteryear.
