Somehow a solution needs to be addressed as to the design of wheelchairs, which are very uncomfortable to use. At least mechanized units, allow a patient dignity and comfort.
Watching the elderly put their hands on those dirty wheels and try to manuever the chairs is not a comforting sight, when one has to rely on them for mobility.
Some elderly patients use their feet to scoot forward or backwards, which takes them a long time to move to where they need to go.
With the medical fraud that has been commited over the years, a strong arm on getting the money back should be a hard focus. To punish those who need the services offered, in order to gain those stolen funds back is just not fair.
