Please Help the Children, as you hear them cry-out!  One more case of a child being tormented and abused by adults.

If, there is any kind of doubt, do not hesitate, just make the call to the hot-line for child abuse.  The states will investigate and make a decision, about any neglect or abuse.

Too many children are giving out signals, and no one is listening!!!  Adults should NEVER be given a chance to hurt a child!  Prison time is the only solution in protecting the child from such monsters lurking in society.

The big problem is the serious cut-backs of investigators in the states.  This country has  been SOFT on abuse of the elderly, the children and the vulnerable.  There is no pride in a nation, that does not protect all the people, all the time.

Abuse of any human being, should be treated as harshly as murder. An abuser has no mercy, no conscience, nor remorse. Lock-up conditions for life behind closed doors is the solution for a person that makes a choice to hurt or abuse a child, an adult or the elderly.

As much as I agree I also strongly disagree. You can't just call investigations randomly on people just because you have any sort of slight feeling on something.

    Lee B,

Many times, it is very evident that a child is under stress from abuse. Some one needs to step-up to ensure that there is a light on the concern. I know of a child that was slammed in the head by the Mother. (He wasn't moving FAST enough). The sum of what she as a single parent put the child through, led the boy to be put under a lot of scrutiny at school. Not his fault, just his reaction to a life at home, that was erratic and volatile.

His mother dragged him out of the limelight and moved him to another state. Now, those that put up the red flag for the system, got knocked down and wonder how that child is and what his future will be with her?

Each time a child is not listened to, we see them become an adult that holds onto those memories with a lot of anger. Abuse of children and adults has been the dirty little secret for generations. Now, the message is more visible and the cure needs to be up front.

This story is "extremely upsetting"...My heart goes out to the little girl and may God forgive me for what I would want done to these two, I CAN'T call them people, they ARE subhuman and should be disposed of as GARBAGE!

      Deathnell J,

AGREE! But, the system will make excuses: "No space in the overcrowded prison system".

"No placement available for the child".

All excuses are UNACCEPTABLE! At all times!!!!!

Investigators and states are afraid of laible suits. Teachers don't want to take chances. Families "see" abuse and don't want to extend themselves. All the while, the children are abused in all of the ways listed on the charts. Abuse at all points has got to STOP! Deter the abuser, with long term prison time and make the paper STICK!

I know elderly women, that spent their years in marriages, where the husbands were abusive to them and to the children. Now, in their 80's, these women speak out, as they know they can. The hurts that they held inside, because NO one accepted the idea then that a spouse/a father would abuse existed.

It is a world now, where we see too much anger...too much abuse and too many deaths. No more secrets. The "times" have changed.
