15 yr. old run away girl, meets a man in the convenience store in Miami.  He offers to help her out. Days later after raping her, he puts her on-the-market.

Sex crimes against children are too extreme to keep an accurate account on day-by-day.  Teens get mad at the folks and take off for a walk.  In one fast minute, they are gone, sometimes forever.

How does a parent get through to a child, to always know that there is love in the world and hopefully the best love is from the home first.  That trusting the parents is the best support system as a base for moving into adulthood.

Too many loving families end up with such horrendous sorrow as they see that once small child, turn into a teen and disappear from view.  Sex crimes and kidnapping perpetrated on the children should be met with life away from society by any person that is finally caught.

No child should have to live with the fear, that maybe someday, they might become a victim.  But, in today's world, we have no choice but to teach our children before it is too late and they stop listening.

This girl was found and saved.  Thousands of children will never be found.  Thousands of children are held prisoners somewhere and we will not be able to see them hidden in the dark rooms.

I lived in Vegas for a year, and hated it for many reasons. So many times during the week, there would be a report of a missing child. I heard the number of thousands per month gone missing w/o a clue. As, I found that to be such a high number of missing children, I called an 800# for missing children and found that the number of missing children each month is honestly in the thousands.

What have we allowed to occur in this country as the criminals get more "rights" then the victims?

The count of missing children seemed to be high in Vegas. Maybe, it still is, for sex sells in Vegas and no one talks!

This is mind boggling, and very frightening as well. I hope something happens soon to end this!

Even when parents raise their children in a safe loving environment, they can still "lose" them once they walk out the door and hang around with the wrong kids at school. Tensions grow as the kids resent the rules of the house, then the cycle of mistrust begins. There is something to be said, for having family involved with the grandparents being around. The more love a child learns, the hope exists that they will know that "home" is always better than the streets.

The next danger is always when the kids are "out" and their freedom is taken away when someone grabs them. Each year, the dangers increase the more the penal system fails to be able to keep the perpetrators in prison for a FULL and long term. The courts have to implement a maximum sentence at all times and then keep the abusers, away from society.

The children are the victims and the felons get "breaks".
