DUMB...DUMB...PEOPLE!!!  Didn't you ever read your history books about the swindles in the land of swamps and alligators back in the early 1900's and again in the late 1960's????

Greed makes the stomach roar, the eyes get bigger and the brain just SHUTS DOWN!

Developers in Florida have swindled the snowbirds for decades.  FLY and buy schemes to Disney World area were huge in the 1980's.

Developer in Ocala, tore up the cow pastures with the red ants in Silver Springs and sold those lots to blind buyers from the north.  The developer would switch the lots, before they built the houses that already were under contract.

Greed is a wonderful thing....for those that are good at scheming.  Greed is not such a good thing for those that WANT more for nothing!

Florida is so easily unregulated as to the scams that go on because of the retirees moving to Florida with money in the sock.  If, it looks like a SWEET deal....run, do not walk!

One serious problem is that people can be stolen from with these investment deals...and the "cops" cannot get them. The money is gone forever.

A financial advisor (?????) in New Tampa still roams the streets, making deals with Mothers, Fathers, retirees, widows...etc. Not too many people will even report him, because they are too embarrased to having been cheated. He has swiped at least 500k in CASH, virtually. The money is hidden and the victims fail to report him.

When, the money multiplies on paper only as to large returns, drop the hammer down!

Florida was always a state, with easy marks. The allowance of foreign investors is easy to do in a state that caters to the need of outside money. Since, the industry of a steady flow of jobs does not exist, some other source has always been the money machine. Tourism....and housing make up the bulk of income. The locals being hard working folks, suffer the losses ever single time.

When, people are desperate to surivive they will always take the bait. When, the wealthy like the taste of riches, and want more, they will also go for the easy gold. A snake will bite you every single time, when you fail to look in the pond.
