It is very difficult to survive in Ocala, Fl without the "financial means" to be able to do so. The city fathers catered to the horse people and kept the wages low in the "townie jobs".

Industry does not mess around with the green pastures set aside for those Kentucky horses.  Keeping-up with the "joneses" is a major sport in a small town that clings to the desire to be gracious to the rich.
