I won't eat lamb.  The thought of eating a horse is impossible to think of for at least me.

The food supply in the world always needs to be clean and productive.  The hunger in nations is growing; the water supply diminshes as freedoms die away.

But, to eat one's loyal friend, still does not appeal to me.
